This solution helps to assure the continued independence of the person in your life who needs a little extra care.   By combining Meridian At Home's personalized support with cutting edge in-home technology, Safe and Sound Clients will enjoy the same level of self-sufficiency they are currently accustomed to with the added security of non-invasive emergency communication devices, monitoring technology, and personal advice.

  • An in-home consultative assessment by a registered nurse
    • An RN will come to you or your loved one's home to discuss ways to prevent in-home accidents and falls, along with recommended methods for monitoring activity to assure peace of mind and safety
  • Installation of Lifeline ®
    • The Lifeline® Personal Help Button (worn around the neck or wrist)
      ensures quick assistance whenever it is needed — 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.   When pressed, with in seconds, a certified Lifeline professional, who is extensively trained, and who has instant access to your health history and personal profile, will call you,  assess the situation, and summon appropriate help, whether it is a neighbor, relative, ambulance or the police.
  • The installation of QuietCare®
  • QuietCare®:
    • Is a revolutionary new home monitoring system that is designed to keep you and your family living safely at home, it helps care givers monitor their loved one's activities of daily living  (such as eating, fall notification and medication compliance patterns) 7 days a week/24 hours a day.
    • Uses a series of activity sensors (not camera's) to protect you and your loved ones at home with no sacrifice of privacy.
    • Alerts are received by monitoring specialists, so you'll be notified promptly when there's an emergency, even if you or your loved one cannot summon for help while living alone in the home.
  • Regularly scheduled nurse visits will also be performed to provide clinical assessments and written status reports to caregivers and clients to regularly monitor and track the medical, safety, and independence and well being of your loved one.
